Landlords Helping Landlords
The Central PA Landlords Association provides tools and resources for rental property management.
The Central Pennsylvania Landlord’s Association (CPLA) is a non-profit organization for those involved in the ownership, management, and operation of residential and commercial rental property.
We provide tools and resources to promote professionalism, and to educate and inform property owners in all aspects of rental property management. We offer our members a library of documents that cover policies, regulations, and compliance. Our members meet once a month to hear guest speakers such as attorneys, local magistrates, fair housing representatives, etc. We meet the second Tuesday of every month.
Our members represent thousands of rental units located throughout Central Pennsylvania. Our dedicated members understand the importance of developing and maintaining a strong organization for the betterment of all landlords. We strive to provide affordable housing, while maintaining the housing stock for our neighborhoods and our tenants.
We believe better landlords help build and maintain better communities. Therefore, we are proactive in our efforts in working with local municipalities and interest groups to provide support in their efforts. CPLA members are better equipped to operate their business, handle legal challenges, and ensure their procedures and homes meet local and state requirements.
The CPLA is led by a non-paid volunteer elected board of directors who direct the organization’s activities and growth. Our leadership and committee members are made up of residential and commercial rental property owners and managers who share the same goals and concerns of the members. The CPLA also has an active Pennsylvania Realty Owners Association (PROA) representative who provides updates on pending legislation that effect our property owners locally and state-wide.
